Please remove lids and rinse out any food or beverage residue. The lids, if they are metal or the screw on plastic type, can be recycled too.

Why?

• Doing this keeps pests out of your home and helps to elimanate odors.

• Also, it makes us happy because we have to sort the recyclables by hand after we get back to our facility and sticky, smelly recyclables makes us question whether our efforts are worth it.
